The spiritual treasure of this church is the wooden statue dating from the first half of the 14th century with the dead Christ in her arms, serene in the certainty of her son’s resurrection. From this Sanctuary, situated at 465 metres above sea level, you can enjoy one of the widest panoramas of the entire area, ranging on clear days from Corsica to Monviso and the Maritime Alps.
The Sanctuary’s guest quarters provide accommodation for periods of rest for the body and spirit: over 100 beds and an excellent restaurant guarantee a peaceful stay in the peace of the surrounding woods. Possibility of splendid walks along the various paths.
